We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced energy procurement specialist with particular experience of the utility management and procurement.  Due to the specific nature of this role the successful candidate must have prior utilities procurement experience and this will ideally be supported by a MCIPS diploma.

It is likely you will have experience of working in an international company as an energy category manager, energy procurement manager or possibly as an energy manager but with significant procurement exposure.  Specific experience required includes forward buying, hedging, forecasting and construction of complex business supply agreements.  A deep understanding of electricity market forces and cost trends is also required.

Candidates should hold a degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.  An MSc or equivalent qualification is desirable.  Experience of working in a consultancy environment will be an advantage.  You should have a flexible approach, work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
