The purpose of the job is to provide technical support in the growing business area of building energy and renewable energy, supporting the climate change and renewables team in all areas of work particularly buildings display energy certification, project design, M&E and implementation.

The key responsibilities are to deliver carbon and energy efficiency solutions to a variety of clients.  Undertake energy audits, carbon management, renewable energy feasibility assessments and project implementation.  To manage projects including costs, performance and spend against budget and to be responsible for client care as required ensuring projects are delivered and are meeting the client's needs.

You will be a self starter with practical and M&E consulting experience gained in the built environment as well as having knowledge of buildings energy demand/modelling, HVAC and lighting.  Activity with renewable energy systems is highly desirable along with expertise in implementation of renewable energy projects with commercial experience and development of business plans complimented with strong project management skills.

Ideally you will hold a degree in Engineering or Environmental discipline with a mechanical, electrical, buildings or energy management bias or be a Chartered Engineer/CIBSE and/or a CIBSE-registered Low Carbon Consultant.  MSc in a specialist energy area is desirable however not essential.
